Best Women Dairy Farmers of Southern India

Mrs. Manglamma

Dinka Village Mandya District
Karnataka State

Smt. Manglamma W/o. Mahadevappa has been selected for the Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award for the year 2024 from Karnataka State by Indian Dairy Association, South Zone, Bengaluru, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the Indian dairy sector. The 40 year old Smt. Manglamma hails from Dinka village in Mandya district of Karnataka and has been pouring milk to the Dinka milk producers cooperative society of Mandya milk union for the last 7 years. Smt. Manglamma is an experienced dairy farmer and a role-model for dairy farmers of her area having a herd size of 40 animals on her farm. She has adopted scientific management methods of dairying and has poured an impressive 1,01,915 litres of milk earning an amount of Rs. 33,06,370 during the previous year. The Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award bestowed on her for this year is a true recognition of her contribution to the progress of dairying in Mandya district of Karnataka State and Indian Dairy Industry as well.

Mrs. Vidhu Rajeev

Kerala State

Smt. Vidhu Rajeev W/o, Rajeev Mathew has been selected for the Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award for the year 2024 from the state Kerala and Union Territory of Lakshadweep by Indian Dairy Association, South Zone, Bengaluru, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the Indian dairy sector. The 46 year old Smt. Vidhu Rajeev hails from Muttuchira village in Kottayam district of Kerala and has been pouring milk to the Government Dairy Institution, Keral Dairy Development, Kottayam, for the last 6 years. Smt. Vidhu Rajeev is a highly experienced dairy farmer and a role-model for dairy farmers of her area having a herd size of 50 dairy animals on her farm. She has adopted all scientific management methods of dairying and has poured 1,03,596.30 litres of milk earning an amount of Rs.49,10,919 /- during the previous year. She is the recipient of Best Integrated Farmer State Award, Best Entrepreneur District Award. The Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award bestowed on her for this year is a true recognition of her contribution to the progress of dairying in Muttuchira village in Kottayam district of Kerala State and Indian Dairy Industry as well.

Mrs. Pudhari Gangavva

Sangam Palli Village Jagityala Rural District Telangana State

Smt. Pudhari Gangavva W/o, Pudhari Ganganna has been selected for the Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award for the year 2024 from Telangana State by Indian Dairy Association, South Zone, Bengaluru, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the Indian dairy sector. The 50 year old Smt. Pudhari Gangavva hails from Sangampalli village in Jagityala Rural district of Telangana and has been pouring milk to the Karimnagar Milk producers company Ltd, for the last 5 years. Smt. Pudhari Gangavva is an experienced dairy farmer and a role-model for dairy farmers of her area having a herd size of 21 dairy animals on her farm. She has adopted scientific management methods of dairying and has poured 14,521 litres of milk earning an amount of Rs. 6,10,205/- during the previous year. The Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award bestowed on her for this year is a true recognition of her contribution to the progress of dairying in Jagityala Rural district of Telangana State and Indian Dairy Industry as well.

Mrs. Naveena Kumari

Maddirala Village Chittoor District Andhra Pradesh State

Smt. P Naveena Kumari W/o. S Reddappa Reddy has been selected for the Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award for the year 2024 from Andhra Pradesh State by Indian Dairy Association, South Zone, Bengaluru, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the Indian dairy sector. The 31 year old Smt. P Naveena Kumari hails from Maddirala village in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and has been pouring milk to the Shreeja Mahila milk producers company Ltd, Tirupati for the last 8 years. Smt. P Naveena Kumari is an experienced dairy farmer and a role-model for dairy farmers of her area having a herd size of 9 dairy animals on her farm. She has adopted scientific management methods of dairying and has poured 8663 litres of milk earning an amount of Rs. 3,08,961/- during the previous year. The Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award bestowed on her for this year is a true recognition of her contribution to the progress of dairying in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Dairy Industry as well.

Mrs. Selvanayaki

Kodangipalayam Village Tirupur District Tamil Nadu State

Smt. V Selvanayaki W/o. Venkidusamy has been selected for the Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award for the year 2024 from State of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry by Indian Dairy Association, South Zone, Bengaluru, in recognition of her outstanding contribution to the growth and development of the Indian dairy sector. The 50 years old Smt. V Selvanayaki hails from Kodangipalayam village in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu and has been pouring milk to the ABT Industries Ltd, Coimbatore, for the last 26 years. Smt. V Selvanayaki is an experienced dairy farmer and a role-model for dairy farmers of her area having a herd size of 18 dairy animals on her farm. She has adopted scientific management methods of dairying and has poured 20,747 litres of milk earning an amount of Rs. 7,52,773/- during the previous year. The Best Woman Dairy Farmer Award bestowed on her for this year is a true recognition of her contribution to the progress of dairying in Tiruppur district of Tamil Nadu state and Indian Dairy Industry as well.
